Showcased is the brand concept for Study Hall Coffee, a cafe and roastery in the north Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.
The aim of this project was to create a brand that mixes a traditional and nostalgic theme with modern and contemporary design elements.
The limited color palette speaks to colors found in the classroom of your youth- yellow pencils, the deep green of a blackboard, and the soft cream of manilla envelopes. Classrooms evoke an idea of calm, concentration, and productivity, while the brand font and handdrawn illustrations keep it light and playful. Suitably, Study Hall is a space for both.
